We, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, understand the value and importance cherished photos of loved ones have during the process of healing. For our families that wish to have visitation(s), celebration of life, memorial or funeral services, we provide a complimentary video tribute.

*Our two types of video tributes are not created the same. If you would like to have both created, please speak with a funeral director as there is an additional cost of $125 for the second video tribute.
REQUIREMENTS: For Visitation
As part of our services with visitation, we produce a complimentary Video Tribute of your loved one to be played during visitation(s). This video tribute can also be viewed through your loved one’s webpage. Please provide us with your permission if you would like us to upload the video tribute to your loved one’s webpage.
*Requirements:
- Up to 100 Photos to be provided by 12 Noon one day prior to the first visitation
- Hard Copy Photos – can be dropped off at the funeral home or once all gathered, a funeral home representative can be arranged to pick them all up.
- Electronic Copy Photos (.jpg format):
- To be provided on a CD or flash drive (usb), dropped off at the funeral home or we can arrange for pick up.
- Photos can be emailed to henrywalserfuneralhome@henrywalser.ca
- Photos can be shared through a cloud service (ie. Google Drive or Dropbox)
- Photos to be provided in number order:
- Label hard copied photos on the back with non transferable ink
- Rename .jpg files in order
- If a number order is not provided the video tribute photos will be placed in random order.
- Music: Accompanying the video tribute will be, rights purchased, instrumental music, provided by the funeral home. You can also choose to have no music.
During the visitation, the video tribute will be played muted on loop. The family can provide us with their music playlist, or the funeral home will play our in-house background music during the visitation.
REQUIREMENTS: For Service
We understand that some families would like to include a video tribute as part of their loved one’s celebration of life, memorial or funeral service. Video Tributes for services often are accompanied with a choice reflection song, therefore are slightly shorter than our visitation video tributes limiting to approximately 40 photos.
*Requirements:
- 10 photos per minute of music. to be provided by 12 Noon one day prior to the first scheduled event (ie. 40 photos for 4min song)
- Music: To be purchased by the family and provided to the funeral home as an .mp3 music file format.
- Hard Copy Photos and Music- can be dropped off at the funeral home or once all gathered, a funeral home representative can be arranged to pick them all up.
- Electronic Copy Photos (.jpg format) and Music (.mp3 format):
- Can be provided on a CD or flash drive (usb), dropped off at the funeral home or we can arrange for pick up.

IMPORTANT
*If providing hard copy photos, we MUST ask the family to remove all photos from their frames. The funeral home will NOT remove any photos from their frames.
*If you are emailing us pictures and music, please send them to henrywalserfuneralhome@henrywalser.ca and specify in the SUBJECT line, the FAMILY NAME. To assist us in knowing when all files have been received, please acknowledge the number of pictures in each email (ie: email 6 of 6). Please call us after sending your email(s) during normal business hours to further communicate any instructions to us.
